|Employee Appreciation Month|
On today’s “All Employee Broadcast”, Avaya Leadership announced the month of June as “Employee Appreciation Month”. Please see the attached announcement from Faye Tylee, Global Head of Human Resources.
While the announcement states that Monday, June 1, 2020 will be a designated holiday for all Avaya employees across the globe, the reality is, that in order to care for our customers, some employees will not be able to take that day off. The Customer Care Center in Oklahoma City will have June 1st as a designated Holiday. The U.S. Service Desk, located in Highlands Ranch, will be using a staggered approach in granting time off over three (3) different days. The Field Technicians will be using that same approach. The intent is that everyone will enjoy a three day weekend!
