CWA Local 7777 Nominations and Election Notice for Vacated Private Sector Vice President
Nominations: Will be accepted at the Nov 10, 2015 General Membership Meeting, beginning at 7:00 pm.
- In order to nominate a candidate, a member must be in good standing. The candidate will be nominated from the Private Sector, and elected at-large.
- Nominations must be seconded by a member in good standing.
- The candidate must be a member in good standing, without a felony conviction.
- If present at the nomination meeting they must accept or decline the nomination. Any nominee not present is required to submit a written acceptance letter to the Election Committee Chair by the time the nomination is made.
- Nominees should plan on staying after the General Membership meeting for an Election Committee briefing and additional candidate information.
Election: Ballots will be mailed out by Nov 30, 2015. Ballots will be collected and counted on Dec 18, 2015
- There will be no on-site voting.
- All ballots will be mailed on Nov 30th to the last known home address of all members in good standing.
- Cut off date for new members and members in good standing to be eligible to receive a ballot for this election is at the adjournment of the General Membership meeting on November 10, 2015.
- The nominee receiving a plurality of the eligible votes cast shall be declared elected and will assume office immediately to serve the remainder of the term.
